Metered billing is not yet available. This page will be updated when the API launches.
Metered billing will allow you to charge customers based on their actual usage during each billing period — for example, per API call, per seat, per GB of storage, or any other unit your business tracks. Unlike standard plans where each invoice is for a fixed amount, metered invoices are generated at the end of each billing interval with a total calculated from the usage reported during that period.
When metering is available, you will be able to:
- Report usage events against an active subscription via the API
- Set a unit price per usage event on the plan's price option
- Have Paisr automatically calculate and generate the invoice at each interval
- Apply minimum charges or usage caps per billing period
