Receiving Payouts

Learn how payment settlements are paid out to your wallet balance.

When a customer successfully pays your business, Paisr settles the net amount to your default wallet balance configured to receive funds. This settlement appears as an inbound transaction on your wallet with method Payout.

How Settlement Works

Payments move through a lifecycle before funds reach your balance:

  1. Initiated — the customer submits a payment against an invoice.
  2. Approved — the payment method provider confirms the payment.
  3. Settled — the net amount (after fees and applicable taxes) is credited to your wallet balance.

The time between approval and settlement depends on the payment method used but can take up to 5 business days. View each payment method's settlement time in the payment methods tab.

Payout Transactions

Each settlement creates a Payout credit transaction on your wallet. You can view these in the Transactions section of your dashboard or retrieve them through the API.

Dashboard: Navigate to the wallet → Transactions and filter by Payout.

curl -X GET "https://api.live.paisr.tech/v2/wallets/{wallet_id}/transactions?method=Payout&type=credit" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer <token>" \
  -H "User-Agent: MyApp/1.0"

Retrieve the full details of a specific payout:

curl -X GET "https://api.live.paisr.tech/v2/wallets/{wallet_id}/transactions/{transaction_id}" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer <token>" \
  -H "User-Agent: MyApp/1.0"

Tracking Payouts with Webhooks

Rather than polling the transactions endpoint, subscribe to the transfer.inbound webhook event to receive real-time notifications whenever a payout is settled to your wallet.

See the Webhooks guide for details on signature verification and event handling.

Monthly Statements

Paisr generates a monthly statement for each wallet summarising all inbound and outbound activity for the period, including payouts. Statements can be downloaded as a PDF for reconciliation or compliance purposes.

Dashboard: Navigate to the wallet → Statements.

curl -X GET "https://api.live.paisr.tech/v2/wallets/{wallet_id}/statements" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer <token>" \
  -H "User-Agent: MyApp/1.0"

Each statement entry includes a source URL for direct download.
