Wallet Settings

Manage your wallet profile, cashtag, PIN, contacts, and statements.

Your wallet is created automatically when you complete onboarding. You can personalise it and configure how others find you and send you money from the Settings section in your wallet.

Cashtag

Your cashtag is a unique handle between 6 and 48 characters that lets others send money to you without needing your full account details. Once set, you can share it anywhere — it acts as your Paisr address.

Navigate to Settings → Profile to set or update your cashtag.

Platform Model

Your cashtag must be lowercase and can only contain letters and numbers. Choose something easy for others to remember. Do not impersonate anyone else's cashtag or use a generic handle as your wallet will be blocked for security reasons.

Profile Visibility

By default your wallet profile is set to Private, meaning only people who already have you in their contacts can find you. Switch it to Public to let anyone on Paisr discover your wallet by cashtag.

Navigate to Settings → Profile → toggle Public Profile.

Regardless of your visibility setting, anyone who already has you in their contacts can send you money.

PIN Code

Your wallet PIN is a 4-digit code required to authorise outbound transfers and payments. You are prompted to create a PIN the first time you initiate a transfer. Changing your PIN later requires entering the current one first.

Navigate to Settings → PIN Code to set or update your PIN.

Never share your PIN with anyone. Paisr support will never ask for it.

Display Preferences

Give your wallet a friendly title and icon so it's easy to recognise in your dashboard.

Navigate to Settings → Preferences to update the title and icon.

Platform Model

Contacts

Contacts are people and businesses you send money to regularly. Saving a contact by cashtag means you can select them quickly the next time you send a transfer rather than entering their details again.

Navigate to Contacts in your wallet to add or manage contacts.

Platform Model

Statements

Paisr generates a monthly statement summarising all activity on your wallet. You can download any statement as a PDF for your own records.

Navigate to Statements in your wallet to view and download your monthly reports.
